Matt Hagan, a three-time NHRA Funny Car champion hailing from Christiansburg, Virginia, is a force to be reckoned with on the drag racing circuit. With a career-best elapsed time run of 3.799 seconds and a top speed of 338.85 mph, Hagan has etched his name into the annals of drag racing history. His journey in Funny Car began in 2008, where he quickly made a name for himself by qualifying No. 1 at the prestigious U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

Breaking out in 2010 with his first NHRA Spring Nationals win in Houston, Hagan's ascent to the top of the sport was swift and unstoppable. His prowess on the drag strip was evident from early in his career, earning him the title of NHRA Rookie of the Year in 2006 in the AMS Pro Mod Challenge.
